Most candidates learned markets in a classroom. I learned them with my own capital on the line — four full cycles, navigated with the discipline to stay in the game.
Since 2017 I have traded digital assets with my own capital — spot, perpetual futures and options — generating $14.3M+ in verified, API-exportable volume. Not paper trading. Not a simulator. Real position sizing, real funding-rate decisions, real drawdowns survived: the 2018 bear, the 2021 mania, the 2022–23 collapse, the recovery after.
In parallel, I ran a client-facing production business for ten years — pitching, negotiating and retaining corporate accounts including Uber and JustEat, managing €50k–€500k budgets at a 90%+ retention rate. Different industry; identical job: win trust, manage risk, deliver under pressure. Swiss desks need people fluent in both the market mechanics and the client. That intersection is rare — it is exactly where I operate.
An unconventional path, audited like a balance sheet.
No institutional dogma. No inherited bad habits. First-principles market understanding built live — and a decade of execution discipline imported from an industry where a missed deadline is a lost client.
Skin in the game beats theory
Every market lesson I own was paid for. Position sizing, correlation risk, funding-rate dynamics, liquidity gaps at 3am — learned managing my own capital through conditions most CVs only describe.
Pressure is a familiar room
Directing live multi-camera productions means irreversible decisions in real time, in front of the client, with no second take. The transfer to a trading desk is direct: execution precision, checklist discipline, contingency planning, composure.
Complexity, translated
Ten years selling abstract concepts to C-suite stakeholders is the same muscle as explaining basis trades, custody architecture or tokenization mechanics to a traditional allocator — in native Spanish or native-level English.
Crypto-native, not crypto-curious
Active since 2017 across CeFi and DeFi: order-book mechanics, perpetual funding, options on Deribit, on-chain flow analysis, lending protocols, RWA tokenization. When a client asks how on-chain settlement actually works, I answer from use — not from a slide.
Creative production → trading desk. Read it like a timetable.
Numbers first. Everything verifiable.
